Athletic Youth Games 2011
In 2011 The City of Aalborg hosts the Youth Games. SIFA and a number of the sports clubs in our City are handling the events. We at Aalborg Atletik & Motion arranges the Track & Field events and are happy to welcome young atleths from Aalborgs entwinned towns.
7th of August
The Youth games 2011 are now over and we at Aalborg Athletic & Motion want to thank you all for joining the meeting in Aalborg. We have enjoyed having you onboard and are looking forward to meet you again in 2015.
6th of August
The Athletic competitions have now been completed and the results are to be found under the header Results. More photographs will be added. Please check this page. The last exercise was a 10 x 200 meter which gave a lot of fun for the participant and the people watching.

5th of August
The first day with competitions has followed the visit to Fårup Sommerland. Despite having used a lot of energy at Fårup Sommerland the youngsters did well during the competitions and a lot of Personal Bests (PB) has been made during the day. The 4 heats of mixed Relay races were very popular with the audience.

4th of August
The training started on the stadium and the Para UL competed in various diciplines on the stadium. In the afternoon all participants in the Youth Games 2011 went through the town and from Nordkraft to Jomfru Ane Parken where the official opening took place. Siegfreds Fodvarmere played music, the Mayor of Aalborg Henning G. Jensen held a speech, the flags and the name signfromthe town paraded across the scene and following the yong athlet from Aalborg Atletik & Motion lit the Youth Game 2011 fire.

3rd of August
The Athlets have now arrived and have been housed at Stolpedalen School. The teams have been introduced to the Nordkraft yesterday evening and are now at the stadium starting their training.
The start list has been updated the 2nd of August and will be updated againg the 3rd following the coach meeting.
